She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Timmermeister and Susan P. Timmermeister (Bowdle). She is survived by: her husband Christopher E. Brown; her daughters, Berkley E. of Galena and Ramsey S. Brown of Galena; and her brother Brian Timmermeister (Betsy) of Lima.

Flowers are welcome, though the family would ask that you consider making a donation in Karin's honor to OSU James Cancer Hospital (OSUCCC-James).
