He was predeceased by: his brother Jack Nemetz; and also, Ernest Alban and Betty Alban. He is survived by: his sister Sandra Horstman Sr (Larry); his sisters-in-law, Suzanne Nemetz and Jody Strickling (Alan); and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Walsh (John), Larry Horstman Jr (Tricia), Scott Nemetz, Brad Strickling (Cara Ambrosino), Nicholas Walsh, Evan Walsh, Derek Horstman, Mariah Horstman, Arik, Audrey and Sydney Strickling.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mount Carmel Hospice 1144 Dublin Rd. Columbus, OH 43215.
