In loving memory of Darla Jean Mitchell of Gahanna, Ohio, born in Newark, Ohio, who departed this world on October 20, 2024 at the age of 55. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Kyle and Donna Kyle (Friend); her stepfather Jeffrey Mayle; and her grandparents, Bob and Frieda Friend.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell; her sister-in-law Martha Nelson (Larry); her uncles, Ronnie Mayle (Sheila) and Michael Jenkins; her aunt Jill Sims; her close friends, Stacey, Breanna, Angie, Allen and Marylou; and her pet Daisy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service - Thornville (56 S Main St, Thornville, OH 43076). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.
The family prefers those memorial contributions be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
