It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Irene (Dronebarger) Leavitt of Fulton, Ohio, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Leroy Dronebarger Sr. and Geraldine Helen Dronebarger (Ward); her brother Walter "Lee" Dronebarge Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Pete Carr and June Dronebarger.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Schoonover, Wendy Duboe (Richard), Tim Leavitt and Rebecca Chafin (Keith); her grandchildren, Jessica Williams (Dace), Amanda Schoonover (Austin Mowers), Holly Duboe, Michaela Chafin and Samuel Chafin (Lexia Wilson); her great grandchildren, Brock, Brave, Erik, Josue, Annalisa, Preston, Averie, Makayla, Braden, Lilyann, Emersyn, Paisley and Jolene; her great great grandchild Roman Emery Mowers; her siblings, Joyce Carr, David Dronebarger and Kala Webel (Stan); her sister-in-law Patrice Dronebarger (Jay Schoonover); her daughters, Jessica and Amanda; and her pets, Hunnybun and Stretch. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Karen's family asks memorial contributions be made to the Morrow County Dog Shelter or the Humane Society of Morrow County.
