She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Gowdy and Agnes Lyberg Gowdy; her husband Horace Damant (Harry); her brother Clifford Gowdy; and her siblings-in-law, Rosellen Gowdy, Eunice Burgess and Walter Burgess.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian D. Damant (Ginny) of Columbus, OH and Dennis G. Damant of Gloucester Point, VA; and her grandchildren, B. David Damant Jr. and Michelle Mainwaring (Thomas Lee).
