He is survived by: his significant other Ida Mae Payne Bales; his children, Pastor Mark Ray Bales (Joy) of Stout, Nancy Mae McGinnis (Ray) of Stout and Joy Kay Jones (Tucker) of Wheelersburg; and his grandchildren, Andy McGinnis (Jessica), Wesley Bales (April), April Chaffins (Gary), Wade Bales (Brianna), Whitley Bales (Madison), Derec Jones (Shana) and Ryan Jones (Taylor McNichols). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
