He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Morton Clayton and Emma Smith Clayton; his wife Louise Heft Clayton; his close friend Thelma Dagger; and his children, Douglas Clayton, Ann Jacob, Mary Hogan and Beth Goff. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
