He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Hostetler and Pearl Hostetler (Stephas); his wife Reva Hostetler; and his brother Uriah Hostetler. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Belcher (Hal) of Easley, SC, Brenda Hickey (Aaron) of Pickens, SC, Yolanda Shaw of Gerard, OH and Misty Van Kuren (Tom) of Loveland, OH; and his siblings, Lloyd Hostetler, Ralph Hostetler (Shirley), Harlan Hostetler, Alvin Hostetler (Linda), Loretta Billingsley (Leon) and Daniel Hostetler (Pam). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
