He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Roof Sr. and Wanda Roof (Kohl); his siblings, Cindy Roof and Sammy Rivera; and his close friend Larry Medlock.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Roof (Wright); his children, Heidi Freetage (J. C.), Heather Stringer (Mike), Holly Roof (Tim Croft) and Andrew Wright; his grandchildren, Johnathon Householder, Roxanne Thursby, Megan Cox, Cody Stringer, Michaela Stringer, Austin Stringer, Anthony Wright, Jaimie Wright and Logan Knepper; his sisters, Charmaine Roof, Carmen Stokes (Bobby) and Dee Dee Shyrock (Ron); his sisters-in-law, Charlene Hixon (Raymond) and Michelle Shaffer (Greg Belt); and his pets, Dozer, Willow, Nina, Puddy and Smoke. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be direct towards the Miller Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
