Jill Ricker wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear of Don's passing. My heartfelt condolences to his family. I met Don when I was a student at ATI in the fall of 1979. He was a great teacher, but an even better cowboy and friend. He took me to a local Amish man who made leather splint boots. I still have them today! I have so many great memories of Don, that I will cherish forever. Good man, gone too soon. 💔”
