He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester M. Beal and Evelyn Beal (Taylor); and his brother Roger Beal. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Beal (Sarazen); his stepdaughter Jennifer Arnold (Harley) of Muncie, IN; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Maria, Kenneth and Jimmy; and his sisters, Carol A. Beal of Columbus and Karen Foreman of West Lafayette. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
