William G. Cronin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2023, at the age of 97, William G. Cronin of Fremont, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cronin and Dorothy Cronin (Gabel); his wife Gretchen Nims Cronin (Sweet); his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Sheehan and Robert Cronin; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Cronin, Evelyn Sweet, Theodore Sheehan, Robert Cominsky, Joseph Sweet and John "Jack" Sweet.

He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Havens (Philip) of Findlay, OH, Patricia Cronin of Arlington Heights, IL and Pamela Black (Michael) of Maumee, OH; his grandchildren, Julie Bourdo (Skip), Karen Kireker (Matt), Kelly Madich (Joseph), Jacob Havens (Audrey), Emily Aranyosi (Kyle), Evan Black and Erica Black; his great grandchildren, Jack, Kate, Patrick, Evie, Luke, Brooks, James, Wesley, Abigail and Avery; and his sister-in-law Helen Cominsky. He is also survived by his three daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family would be grateful that memorial contributions be made to YMCA of Sandusky County, 1000 North St., Fremont, OH 43420 or Sacred Heart Church.
