It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas L. Bennison Sr. of Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell M. Bennison and Annette Bennison (Hunt); and his brother John R. Bennison. He is survived by: his wife Marianne M. Bennison; his children, Carolyn Prater (Dallas) of Fostoria, OH, Ann Marie Darr (Anthony) of Fremont, OH and Thomas Bennison Jr. (Jeannine) of Fremont, OH; his sister Lois Evelyn Magargle of Fremont, OH; and his grandchildren, Joel Prater (Stacey), Dwain Prater, Thomas L. Bennison III (Rachel Patterson), Craig Bennison (Kim), Kyle Dukeshire (Michelle), Alexander Darr and Emileigh Darr. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (1021 W State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Heartland Hospice and St. Ann's Catholic Church.
