We bid farewell to Ronald L. Ayres (Fremont, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Ronald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ayres and Maribelle Ayres (Scherf); his granddaughters, Amber Arruda and Brittney Ketter; his siblings, Fred Ayres and Merry Jane Polter (Jim); and his children-in-law, Steve Gloer and Debbie Ayres.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Mesnard of Fremont, OH; his children, Veronica Gloer of Oak Harbor, OH, Ginny Goedde (Don) of Avon Lake, OH, Todd Ayres (Barbara Hansen) of Fremont, OH and Troy Ayres (Julie) of Wartburg, TN; his grandchildren, Zach Gloer (Jen), Zane Gloer (Brittany), Gina Preston (Jerry), Jyl Davis (Ben), Jodi Mohan (Chris), Jenna Condit (Drew), Ashley Ping, Canon Ayres (Mariah Pitzen), Hunter Ayres (Taylor), Brennan Siebert (Sharisa) and Cole Ayres (Anela Shanley); his great grandchildren, Emelia, Madilyn, Clara, Millie, Ada, Kennedi, Karsyn, Hayden, Zoey, Raygan, Rhylin, Ruger, Adley, Blakely, Jayden, Mason, Anthony, Austin, Ali, Ava, Cali, Aubrey and Ethan; his siblings, Jim Ayres (Kathy), Tom Ayres (Bev), Rick Ayers (Marty) and Suzy Ruiz (AJ); and his sister-in-law Beth Ayres.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (902 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420).
Memorials can be made in Ron's honor to St. Mark Lutheran Church, Heartland Hospice or the American Diabetes Association.
