It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard F. Watson of Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Watson and Nellie Watson (Dukes); and his siblings-in-law, Charles McCachren, Rev. Omer Rethinger, Paul Rethinger and Mary Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Watson; his children, Michael Watson (Diane) of Marion, Julie Watson of Fremont, Mark Watson (Rhonda) of Fremont, Richard L. Watson (Linda) of Fremont and Robert Watson of Fremont; his grandchildren, Megan Watson (Nik), Alexander Watson (Kate), Jordan Watson (Brian) and Cory Watson; and his siblings, Charlotte McCachren, Rolland Watson (Karen) and Glen Watson (Sandra). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Donations in Richard's name may be made to the Sisters of St. Francis, Tiffin or to the Sisters of Mercy, Fremont.
