He is survived by: his wife Leslie Cochran Carpenter; his children, Ashley Wright (Lucas) of Dayton, Trey Smith (Caitlin) of Haslet, Texas, Tyler Smith of Elmore, Michael Leasure (Kristin) of Fremont, Chelisa Carpenter of Barnesville and Ridge McBurney (Jasmine) of Byesville; his siblings, Missy Carpenter of Barnesville, Mark Carpenter of Barnesville and Chris Carpenter (Jill) of Barnesville; his father Michael Carpenter of Barnesville; his mother-in-law Judy Cochran; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Jackson (Tim) of Middlebourne, London Cochran (Lee Taylor) of Bellaire, Lee Cochran of Reynoldsburg and Len Cochran (Carla) of Humble, Texas.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
