He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Crowell and Julia Crowell (Heberling); his sister Carol Perry; and his daughter-in-law Pamela "Pep" Crowell. He is survived by: his wife Ida Crowell; his children, David (Veronica), Douglas, Shelly, Allen (Kimberly), Bobby (Betty), Gina Nuhfer and Matthew Crowell; and his sister Janet Conner.
