With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard A. Wilhelm of Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul L. Wilhelm and Gertrude Wilhelm (Zaleski); his nephew Matt McCabe; and his niece Karlee McDermitt. He is survived by: his partner Jim Woodruff of Fremont, OH; and his siblings, Paula Deppen (Denny) of Boston, PA, Joan Sachs (Tom) of Ostrander, OH, Sharon Chudzinski (Mike) of Fremont, OH, Larry Wilhelm of Ostrander, OH, D. Bart Wilhelm (Carla) of Napoleon, OH, John Wilhelm (Kathy) of Blythedale, PA and Steve Wilhelm (Lisa) of Fremont, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (709 Croghan St, Fremont, OH 43420).
