He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Durnwald and Bernadine Blodgett (Meyer); his stepfather Chancey Blodgett; and his brother Edward Durnwald. He is survived by: his wife Ila Durnwald (Elkins) of Fremont; his children, Jamie Munoz (Chris Reeder) of Clyde, Jason Durnwald (Robin) of Fremont, Jeremy Durnwald of Fremont and Amanda Stines of Fremont; his stepchildren, Timmy Elkins (Fran) of Clyde and Tiffany Alexander (Taz) of Fremont; and his siblings, Marianne Jacobs (Ronald) of Fremont, Janet Singleton of Clyde, Margaret Diemer of Kalamazoo, MI and Brian Blodgett (Melissa) of Maryland. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
