He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Walter and Mildred Walter (Dicken); his siblings, Carol Summey (Louis), Lee Walter (Janet) and Tom Walter; and his sister-in-law Dixie Bell.
He is survived by: his brother Allen Walter (Susan); his nieces and nephews, Crista Wisely, Greg Walter, Kirk Summey, Kevin Walter and Michele Cassidy (Tom); and his friend Larry Babione. He is also survived by 12 great nieces and nephews, many great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, the Cerebal Palsey Foundation, or to the donor's choice.
