We bid farewell to Jack D. Zimmerman of Fremont, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 22, 2025 at the age of 98. Jack touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Galland "Tom" Zimmerman and Irene Zimmerman (Hampshere); his former wife Mary "Mott" M. Overmyer; his wife Mary Zimmerman; his son Tom Zimmerman; his son-in-law Mike Frater; and his sister Joyce Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Zimmerman (Debbie) of Port Clinton, OH and Martha Frater of Fremont, OH; his daughter-in-law Sandy Zimmerman of Bellevue, OH; his grandchildren, Steph, Cory, Kyle, Kristi, Mike and Matt; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Taylor, Alyssa, William, Weston, Eliza and Jack; his great great grandchild Hazely; and his girlfriend Bonnie Conley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
