He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Bocanegra and Celia Bocanegra (Guerra); his sister Olga; his brother-in-law Richard Mendoza; and his nephew Santos Bocanegra Jr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Santos Bocanegra Sr. (Virginia) of Fremont and Lucia (Michael) of Long View, WA; his nieces and nephews, Regina Price (Keith), Sara Wehring (Josh), Elena Schaumleffel (Joe), Daniel Bocanegra, Richard Mendoza Jr., Lisa Hergesheine (Gerald), Becky Goehring (John), Marcus and Maria Claxton; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adrienne, Mara, Isaac Wehring, Christy, Jamie, Josh Miller, Johnathan, Adam, Anthony, Jacob Goehring, Rachael, Richie Mendoza, Jasmine Wheeler and Simone Gamboa.
