We bid farewell to Gilberto E. Flores of Fremont, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 24, 2025 at the age of 91. Gilberto touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Flores and Josephina Flores (Enriques); his wife Martha A. Diaz; his brother Ricardo Flores; his son Jesse Flores; his grandson Danny Hickam; and his mother-in-law Maria Diaz.
He is survived by: his children, Gilbert Flores, Rosa Flores (Juan Garcia), Hermalinda Flores, Irma Flores, Alex Ruben Flores and Hector Flores. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
