With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerard J. Recker of Fremont, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerard J. Recker to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard C. Recker and Priscilla Recker (Leist); his wife Rebekah S. Harder; his brother Richard Recker; and his parents-in-law, Richard and Fern Harder.
He is survived by: his son Josh Recker of Fremont, OH; his siblings, Stephen Recker (Lisa) of Delphos, OH, Anthony Recker (Kelly) of Fort Jennings, OH, Christopher Recker (Sheila) of Chambersburg, PA, Philip Recker, Andrew Recker (Megan) of Hudson, OH, Barbara Haggard (Donald) of Delphos, OH, Geralyn Larson of Paulding, OH, Janet Foust and Julie Beair (Stoney) of Grover Hill, OH; his sister-in-law Barbara Recker of Delphos, OH; and his friend Lee Carrington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (212 N Clover St, Fremont, OH 43420).
Memorials can be made in his honor to the Sandusky County Fair Log Cabin Area.
