He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son Todd (Eunme); and his friends, Jason (Alissa), Eric Hillenbrand (Condessa) of Toledo, Lisa Maji of Oak Harbor, Margot Hillenbrand (Don) of Toledo and Karl Hillenbrand of Toledo. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice in gratitude for their compassionate care during Ernst's final days.
