He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Martin and Ressa Bell Martin (Runion); his granddaughter Nicolette Martin; and his siblings, Richard Martin and Carolyn Isaacs (Michelle Burdette).
He is survived by: his sons, Donald Martin Jr. (Kim) of Fremont, OH and Ronnie Martin of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Nathen Martin of Fremont, OH and Samantha Reyes of North Carolina; his great grandchildren, Paisley Martin, Ronnie Reyes and Mikey Reyes; his siblings, Phyllis Ward of Woodville, OH, Robert "Jake" Martin (Olivia) of Fremont, OH and Donna Jean Auxter of Green Springs, OH; and his former wife Julie Ann Loats (Moses).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Greenlawn Memory Gardens (1793 W McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410).
