She was predeceased by: her father-in-law Ralph Mears; her brother-in-law Jim Mears; and her grandparents, Alice and Woody Pasch. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her stepson Kyle Mears; her grandchildren, Raelyn and Edward; her parents, Joe DiGiovanni (Darlene) and Dianna Kroeger; her mother-in-law Marjorie Mears; her siblings, Annette Lynch (Richard), Matt Kroeger (Deidara), Mark Kroeger, Ted Kroeger (Vanessa) and Joe DiGiovanni; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Mears (Jenny) and John Mears (Debby).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity close to Chrissy's heart, in support of those in need—just as she would have wanted. Preferences would include Campfire of Sandusky County, The Humane Society, or The American Heart Association.
