We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2025, at the age of 68, Carol Holbert of Fremont, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Batesole and Norma Batesole; and her brother-in-law Phill Schank of Fremont, OH.. She is survived by: her daughter Beth Lemon of Fresno, CA; her grandsons, Ryan Lemon of Fort Campbell, KY and Jack Lemon of Fresno, CA; her sisters, Patty Schank of Fremont, OH and Kathy Batesole (Jim Dennis) of Helena; and her brother-in-law Blaine "Rocky" Guhn of Fremont, OH..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
