Barbara Sue Behrendsen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 78, Barbara Sue Behrendsen of Fremont, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Harmon and Edna Rose Gerwin (Jones); and her siblings, Nancy Widman and Dennis Gerwin. She is survived by: her husband Larry Gene Behrendsen of John's Lutheran Church; her children, Randy Behrendsen (Regina), Ryan Behrendsen (Jamie), Daren Behrendsen (Gail) and Gigi Carrel; and her brother Larry Gerwin (Ruth). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (212 N Clover St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
