It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Ruggiero of Fremont, Ohio, born in Gibsonburg, Ohio, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Ruggiero and Maria Ruggiero (Reino); his former wife Janet Ruggiero; and his siblings, Patsy, Nick, Carmen Ruggiero, Jeff Hoffman and Mary Benner.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthann Ruggiero (Collier); his children, Reggie Paradiso (Dan) of Columbus, OH and Annette Dyke (Peter) of Littleton, CO; his grandchildren, Domini Clark (Ryan), Michela Paradiso, Chiara Brown (Nathan), Giavanna Paradiso, Vincenza Paradiso, Camryn Novak (Luke) and Coriana Dyke; his great grandchild Rosario Clark; his sister Susie Rusher of Gibsonburg, OH.; his stepchildren, Sherrie Foerstner (Craig), Anne White (Matt), Mike Mayle (Diana) and Catherine Smith (Aaron); his grandchildren, Grace Outcalt (Connor), Seth Foerstner, Audrey White, Isaac White, Ian White, Cole Mayle, Chase Mayle, Lucy Smith and Griffin Smith; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Brooks Outcalt. He is also survived by his two daughters, seven granddaughters and one great granddaughter – to his granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Bowling Green State University Athletic Department, St. Joseph Catholic Church or Bishop Hoffman Catholic Schools.
