He is survived by: his mother Nancy Lee Stivers Rodgers of Freeport; his wife Joyce Lou Poling Rodgers; his children, Richelle Rodgers and Richard Henry Rodgers, Jr.; his grandchildren, Tayidem Blaylock and Jacob Rodgers; his stepchildren, Edgar Blaylock and Thomas Blaylock; and his sister Terri Rodgers.
