He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hayes and Gladys Hayes (Anderson); his daughter Trina Hayes; and his siblings, Lewis Hayes and Maria Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Diana L. Hayes (Dean) of Freeport; his children, Tabitha Hayes of Freeport and Jason Hayes (Amanda) of Zanesville; his grandchildren, Christopher Hayes, Aaron Powers and Seanna Powers; and his brothers, Stephen Hayes (Shirley) of Zanesville and Gary Hayes of Freeport.
