He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Popadak and Lois J. Lewis Popadak; the mother of his children Wanda P. Kale Popadak; and his sister-in-law Pamela Jo Schrader. He is survived by: his wife Lori Ann Harper Popadak; his children, John Matthew Popadak (Saylor) of Zanesville, Gregory Williams (Megan) of Canal Winchester, Nick Zenns (Sara) of Fallbrook, CA., April M. Reed (Tom) of Warren and Cara A. Bobek (Zak) of Salesville; his siblings, Michael Popadak (Kathy) of Bazetta, Susan Popadak of Vero Beach, FL and Donna Daugherty (Doug) of Mt. Gilead; his brother-in-law Robert "Bobby" Schrader; and his grandchildren, Morgan (Kenny), Abigail, Evan, Adriana, Natalie, Tristen, Austin, Cheyenne, Braxton, Jackson, Wyatt, Landon, Noah, Corbin, Dylan, Ian, Mekaela, Harley "Ryann", Nicholas, Lila Mae, Avery Jane and Zoeyanne.
