He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howells Jr. and Charlotte Barnard Howells. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Denise Nichols Howells; his daughter Christina Howells-Pita (Fred) of Santa Maria, California.; his stepchildren, Kandice Butzer (Jason) of Norton, Devan Kimball (Joseph) of Freeport and Skyler Nichols of Fort Polk, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Brandan Pita (Valory) of Oklahoma, Michael Pita (Cynthia) of Alaska, Ryan Pita of Santa Maria, Cailey Pita of Santa Maria, Alyssa Howells of New Jersey, Nathan McBurney of Freeport, Hailey Kimball of Freeport and Gwendolyn Nichols of Norton; his great grandchild Matthew Pita of Alaksa; his pets, Blue, Willow and Blossom; his siblings, Sam Howells (Bonnie) of New Jersey, Frank Howells and Sandy Mennel; and also, Stephen Wagner and Carolynn Stull of Moorefield.
