He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrud Salyers; his daughter Laura Allen; and his close friend Dorma Walls. He is survived by: his daughter Elenore Hall (Robert) of Freeport; his grandchildren, Clayton Allen (Tricia) of Gnadenhutten, Jennifer Abrams (Dan) of Freeport and Julie Smith (Craig) of Mineral City; and his great grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Kayleigh Abrams, Coulter Abrams, Jase Allen and Kaiden Walls.
