He is survived by: his sons, Eric Whitsel (Jeanne) of Brook Park and Jonathon Jones of Freeport; his granddaughters, Johanna, Emma, Abby Whitsel and Kortnie Madison; and his sister Deanna Kerley (Cecil) of Berea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
