She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Harding Gatts and Helen Maxine Dray Gatts; her husband James Alvin Borland; her brother Donald Gatts; and her son-in-law Danny Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Shepherd (Chip Chance) of Salesville, Peggy Couch (Larry White) of Piedmont and David Luyster (Freda) of Scio; her sister Mary Lou Stull of Scio; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Couch Dobrich, Michelle Couch, Clayton Luyster, Ashley Luyster, Diana Luyster, Danielle Shepherd, Kolton Shepherd, Alexis Shepherd and Makenzie Shepherd; and her great grandchild Madaline Dobrich. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
