It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Davis of Fredericktown, Ohio, born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Francis Davis and Eva Davis (Hoeflich); his wife Jane Davis (Daubenspeck); his children, Dee Ann Durfee of Mount Vernon and Richard Scott Davis of Fredericktown; his grandchildren, Megan Nichole Durfee, Morgan Renee Newton (Jacob), Mason Andrew Durfee (Sutton), Malaydan Manuel Durfee, Madison Monica Maria Durfee, Brandon Scott Davis (Rebecca Gromley), Hailey Renee Davis and Julia Gwendoline Davis; his siblings, John Davis (Jeanne) of Fredericktown and Kathy Donaldson (Bob) of Lexington; his daughter Robin Renee Belcher; and his grandson Robert Brock Belcher. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
