He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Davis. He is survived by: his children, Ralph "Ed" Davis, Gloria Bartlett and John Davis Sr. (Leslie); his grandchildren, Joshua (Karen), Justin, Noelle (Chris), Leah (Jacob), John Jr. and Jason; his great grandchildren, Brice, Madeline, Lukeus and Cole; and his brother Victor Davis (Vivian). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
