He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Baxter and Harriett Baxter (Holloway); and his brothers, Chester and Leroy Baxter. He is survived by: his wife Jean Baxter (Simmons); his children, Richard Baxter (Jody Rogers), Christopher Baxter (Chris) and Veronica Cooper (Rufus); his grandchildren, Huntre Light (Paul), Jenna Rogers and Madison Baxter; his great grandchild Weston Ray Light; and his sister Cuberta Mosher.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home of Fredericktown (33 E College St, Fredericktown, OH 43019). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
