He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald C. Hayes and Reva T. Hayes (White). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hayes (Boone); his sons, Stephen Hayes (Nancy) of El Paso, TX, Gerald Hayes (Jessica) of Logan, UT and John Mark Hayes of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, April, Nikkita, Cody, Stephen Jr., Kyra and Sarah; and his great grandchild Bristol.
