He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel E. Staiger and L. Ellen Staiger (Grubaugh); his son Daniel Staiger III; his brother Raymond Kelly; his brother-in-law Clyde Conkle; and his sister Thelma Frye.
He is survived by: his daughter Traci Durbin (Tom) of Fredericktown, OH; his grandchildren, Kacey Shinaberry (Karter), Kylee Staiger, Kristin Staiger and Aleksandr Staiger; his great grandchildren, Kennedy Shinaberry, Kamden Shinaberry and William Staiger; and his siblings, Joan Conkle of Mount Vernon, Kim Staiger of Mount Vernon, Ada Carey (Russ) of Mount Vernon and Danny Kelly (Shirley) of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Daniel's memory to The Ohio Eastern Star Home, 1451 Gambier Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
