He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Wengerd and Emma Wengerd (Hostetler); and his siblings, Ella Yoder, Mary Wengerd, Mattie Wengerd, Malinda Raber, Dan Wengerd and John Wengerd.
He is survived by: his children, Owen Wengerd (Svetlana) of Brandon, FL and Betty Ann Bales (Jason) of Shreve; his grandchildren, Chad Bayless, Cameron Wengerd, Nicholas Wengerd, Nathan Wengerd and Emily Ayers (Brandon); and his sister Anna Gleim of Wooster.
