He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose M. Shetler and Amanda Shetler (Miller); his son Levi Shetler Jr.; his grandson Jacob Hershberger; his brother Enos; his sister-in-law Emma Shetler; and his parents-in-law, Menno and Katie Ann Hitly.
He is survived by: his wife Clara M. Hilty; his children, Laura (Leroy Hershberger), Ivan (Fannie Shetler), Daniel (Laura Shetler), Ervin (Esther Shetler), Amanda (Andrew Miller), Katie Ann Shetler and Mose Shetler (Robert Shetler) of Wooster; and his siblings, John, Dan, Jemima Shetler of Fredericksburg, Andrew Shetler of Holmesville, Mary Shetler of Fredericksburg, Fannie and Henry Miller of Wooster.
