He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeno E. and Marguerite Weltmer (Gardner); his sons, Edwin and Kevin; and his son-in-law Raymond Chupp.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Christopher Weltmer of Fredericksburg and Lisa Marie Chupp of Fredericksburg; his daughter-in-law Donna Weltmer; and his granddaughter Misty Shinn (Tony).
