He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Wagers and Dorothy Wagers (Boyce); his son Brian; and his sisters, Elizabeth Wagers and Kay Franks.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Hoxworth; his daughters, Sheila (David Wells) of Shreve and Lora Amos of Millersburg; his daughter-in-law Brenda Wagers of Orrville; his grandchildren, Ryan Wells, Abby Wells, Clay Wagers and Morgan Amos; his great grandchild Kylie Young; his siblings, Richard Wagers (Martha) of Bucyrus, Karen Sidle (Homer) of Wooster, Dorothy Genevieve Wagers of Wooster and Marilyn Ott (Ivan) of Apple Creek; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Franks of Wooster, Art Hoxworth of Denver, CO., Kenny Hoxworth of Millersburg, Gary Hoxworth of Millersburg and Gayle Miller (Lee) of Navarre.
