She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John C. and Nellie Williard (Mellor); her son Darwin C. Heilman (Phyllis) of Charlotte, NC; her grandsons, John Eric Heilman (Rebekah) of Concord, NC and Kurt Phillip Heilman of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Emma Lynn, Lilian Kate and Olivia Grace Heilman; and her siblings, Lynn A. Williard of Holmesville, Robert Williard of Big Prairie and Miriam K. Shedron of Nashville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the South Central (Fredericksburg) Fire Department or the American Red Cross.
