With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Sherman Hamsher (Fredericksburg, Ohio), born in Walnut Creek, Ohio, who passed away on February 14, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hamsher and Ella Hamsher (Sommers); his sister Oletha Troyer; and his siblings-in-law, Alvin Troyer, John Weaver, Paul Gingerich, Judy Hamsher and Kathy Hamsher.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Helmuth (Ed) of Colorado Springs, CO, Scott Hamsher of New York City, NY and Laurie Liechty (Ron) of Supply, NC; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Luke, Tyler, Courtney Helmuth, Cory and Sophia Darco; his great grandchild Andrew Darco; his siblings, Annetta Weaver, Lorene Gingerich, Marcus Hamsher and Kenny Hamsher; and his niece Heather Auxier. He is also survived by his siblings, his grandchildren, and great grandson.
He also enjoyed volunteering at MCC Connections and extending his charity and generosity.
