He was predeceased by: his son Derrick Dorsey; and his nephew Brent Dorsey. He is survived by: his children, David Dorsey and Denise Parsons (Ron); his brother Donald Dorsey (Sharon); his pet Curly; and his caregiver Lori Dorsey. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Licking County Humane Society.
