She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Garrard and Nora Garrard (Alberry); her husband Gail W. Conklin, Sr.; her children, Herbert Conklin and Annabelle Conklin; her son-in-law Danny Brookover; and her siblings, Dorothy Lake, Bonnie Wilson, Ruth Hobbs, Junior Wiley and Earl Wiley.

She is survived by: her children, Gail W. "Jake" Conklin (Rose) of Adamsville, Ralph Conklin (Julie) of New Concord, Pat Conklin (Candy) of Frazeysburg, Robert Conklin (Anita) of Frazeysburg, Linda Brailer (Larry) of Nashport, Sally Brookover of Dresden, Bonnie King (Gary) of Laurel and Kathy Weber (David) of Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
